Morganite 3mm Fac Round 15.5in

Soft, welcoming colours in shades of pale pink, pale blue and surprising olive green. Morganite is in the Beryl family of stones, and is therefore related to emerald and aquamarine and helidor. This, clearly, is not "gemmy" - meaning clear and gem-like, but very pretty and much more affordable!

The stone was discovered by George D. Kunz, the same gemologist that discovered Kunzite, and was named Morganite in honor of John Pierpoint Morgan, who was a great admirer and collector of gemstones.

Banded - which means sorted by color onto the strand. Very inspirational.
