French Wire - Heavy - Goldplated (Pack)

Gives a refined and elegant look to any piece of jewelry. Protects and hides thread where it comes into contact with the finding or clasp.

This is a very, very fine coiled wire - you slip this coil over your thread that passes through the loop on the clasp. You use just a bit at a time - cut to length with scissors or wire cutters.

Plated base metal.

Sometimes referred to as bullion or gimp, but while similar, those two items are different.
